This time, they not only improved the health of people and animals – as the motto of Boehringer-Ingelheim RCV Gmbh suggests – but also enhanced the work environment for their colleagues. The now common open office space spans 750 m², offering workstations and areas designed for collaboration, perfectly suited to the spirit of the times. The plans were born with the aim of intelligent work organization, task execution, and increasing efficiency. Naturally, special attention was given to meeting rooms that accommodate the technology fitting our digitalizing world and provide opportunities for hybrid working.

With the introduction and maintenance of the home office system, the office space primarily serves as a hub for community life, collaboration, and cooperation, perfectly complementing remote work. This allows colleagues to easily integrate teamwork and project-oriented solutions into their daily routines. To bring personalized intimacy to the workplace, making the hours spent there more comfortable, you’ll find personalized chair straps, mugs, and small objects – in other words, the human-centered focus is also present in the design.

The focus rooms and meeting rooms were separated by glass walls in the center. Thanks to the large windows, the workstations are beautifully illuminated. In this light-filled space, it became easier for us to put together our furniture proposals, as we had great freedom in choosing from the available options.

First, let us introduce the Interstuhl Joyce chairs. Whether it’s a large, open-plan space or smaller rooms – as we’ve seen here – if focused work is important, this seating option provides excellent support. Imagine a truly flexible office chair that properly serves the needs and expectations of the user, even after hours of sitting. Let us share a fitting quote from James Joyce, the Irish poet, writer, and critic: “The future looks back at the past in the meeting of the now and the here.” We couldn’t describe it better, as this chair has brought a significant change to employees’ lives with its customizability, both in the backrest, the seat cushion, and the color options.

Next in line are the Bene KX cabinets, which serve their users excellently, whether as standalone furniture or when combined with lower and upper cabinets. If there’s a need for creating separate spaces or expanding the workspace, this piece of furniture is still a perfect choice – and it won’t disappoint. With its sturdy construction, ease of reconfiguration, and simple design, the range includes sliding door, tambour, hinged door, glass door, shelving, and drawer cabinets. The excellent value for money is further enhanced by the innovative nature of the furniture.

Finally, we would like to shine the spotlight on the Pedrali Tribeca benches. They bring an interesting and exciting contrast to the modern, high-tech office environment, as their structure, appearance, and silhouette transport us back in time to the 1960s. The classic chairs that once populated terraces have been reinterpreted in a modern way by the designers, combining steel and woven materials. Originally designed for outdoor use, they also function excellently in interior spaces, creating a cozy atmosphere.

The great advantage of the new environment is that everyone can feel a part of it, as management took colleagues’ suggestions into account when designing the plans. From the recycling of furniture to the selection of colors, ambassadors involved employees in almost every aspect of the process. They could vote on the naming of the meeting rooms, and even suggest furniture suppliers. We would like to thank everyone who voted for the Smart Office Solutions team, products, and services!
