We would like to captivate our dear readers, who are looking for references, with the details of another highly valued project. In this case, the challenge was to balance and maintain the harmony between the human side and the virtual world, nature and technology, as well as the analog mindset and digitalization. Of course, we addressed these challenges with our well-known client-focused, creative thinking, delivering effective solutions.

Hybrid thinking came to the forefront because, during the economic conditions caused by the global health crisis of Covid, the market had no established best practices to address the new expectations and demands for working. It was a novelty that, on average, employees worked 2-3 days a week in the office, with the remaining days spent working from home. Additionally, 70% of the office space had to be designed for collaboration, with only 30% allocated for individual work, and even that without dedicated workstations. In the end, all of this was supported by a future-proof IT ecosystem.

By now, you understand the period in which we began working. Let’s now take a look at the space where we started assembling the furnishings! The plans suggested a clean, cohesive look. We encountered natural surfaces like wood, concrete, ceramics, and green plant islands. A key consideration in the material selection was ensuring that the furniture and decorative elements were made using recycled materials, in line with sustainability goals. Notable examples of this were the acoustic wall panels and flooring made from recycled PET bottles, which appeared in the office spaces.

This is how we started assembling our furniture proposal, which included Actiu Talent flip-top tables. These tables feature a mobile, foldable, stackable, and height-adjustable system, offering exceptional versatility for multi-purpose spaces. This ensures that, in line with sustainability principles, there’s no need to purchase separate tables for each individual function or purpose.

Our Enea Lottus bar stools were designed by the Barcelona-based design trio Lievore Altherr Molina, with manufacturing by the Spanish furniture maker Enea. The Lottus chairs are part of a complete collection that includes chairs, stools, and tables. These versatile pieces can be used for a variety of purposes, including conference rooms, cafés, and social spaces. They embody a simple and sleek design aesthetic, competitive pricing, and a user-friendly structure.

Finally, we’d like to highlight the True Design Code poufs from this project. Why? Because they provide an extremely comfortable and flexible seating system for the office space, which can be seamlessly integrated into any environment thanks to the endless variation possibilities. The use of simple geometric shapes creates an aesthetically pleasing setting for informal workplace conversations. Meanwhile, the poufs and larger maxi poufs, which can even be supplemented with backrests and integrated tables, offer an exciting visual experience, inspiring us to think outside the box.

In line with employee wellbeing, spaces supporting work-life balance were filled with furniture that complements this goal, and we played a key role in this. The creation of a social, child- and pet-friendly environment, alongside a truly future-proof and harmonious office space, has undoubtedly made this collaboration one of our favorite projects.
